About Us
Why did I start this site?
This website came out of a need to support animal rescuing efforts in South Korea, where I am teaching. Most of my salary goes toward food and medical needs for the animals rescued, the pets I live with and I would love to do more. So starting this affiliate blog and a funding page is a way to make sure the heating bill gets paid, animals get neutered, animals get rescued and there is food out for as many animals as possible.

Animals in need
Including one human animal!
Sherlock was my first rescue and happened within the first week I was here. To be honest I only wanted one cat but one by one I rescued the sick and dying until I personally had 6 cats (2 I am hoping to foster until they find a loving home) and 3 dogs and had found homes for 3 other cats.
In addition I feed about 20 outside cats and the occasional dog. I really want to help these cats and dogs that need help. Attitudes toward dogs and cats is changing in South Korea but there are many stray dogs and cats that need food and shelter.

Our dream is to…
Find a piece of land (near the mountains and the water) with a couple of acres, build a small Earthship (or find one for sale). Work remotely.
Then, with nature’s help, and some permie friends, build a permaculture forest, a cob shed, replenish the soil… while we eat fresh foods and live a zero or almost zero waste life. (If possible, it’s a dream after all) Find some likeminded loving people and invite them to build their own Earthship.

Our needs
Food, shelter and necessities
I pay over $1000’s per year in food and shelter costs including cleaning, bedding etc..
Medical
There are 3 dogs and 3 cats that need to be neutered, one cat has kidney and constipation issues and needs subq fluids plus medication. Others need vaccinations and problems that need diagnosing.
dreams
Should the site bring in enough money..we will move to a house with a yard. If it gets ridiculous then the Earthship with some land and some friends.
